Foreword by the Author

I feel very proud indeed to be able to introduce you to the online Divorce Manual, which represents the culmination of over 3 years of very interesting and challenging work.

It is the realisation of a professional dream of mine, a dream I first had about 10 years ago when I founded the Compass Resolution National Network of family mediators and mediation support professionals (Solicitors,Financial advisers, Accountants, Actuaries, Child and parenting experts)

I would like to thank my family for their patience during all the hours I have spent writing and constructing this multi-media Divorce Manual including the time I have spent locked away in my study shooting videos and creating guides. Hopefully, I have not been too unbearable

Thank you also to my good friend Ollie Pearson of Design the New Ltd and his team for their help, patience and support with ‘bringing this Manual to market’ in a way we hope most readers will find helpful.

Above all, I would like to thank all the inspirational clients I have worked with, especially those who took the opportunity mediation offered them and, through their focus, commitment and efforts, made it work.

These are the people from whom I have and continue to learn so much. They are my inspiration. They are the people who make my conflict resolution work and work with separated families so worthwhile.

These are the people who inspired this Manual.

Thank you. This Manual is dedicated to you all.
