Compass Resolution is very pleased and proud to welcome Jennifer Miles to its swelling ranks of skilled accredited family mediators

Jennifer is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, a Family Mediation Council accredited all issues mediator and Professional Practice Consultant.

She practiced all areas of family law in established law firms for nearly twenty years representing clients both in and out of the courts.

As a result of her insight and belief in alternative dispute resolution Jennifer qualified independently as a family mediator through Resolution in 2012.

Over the following three years Jennifer undertook family mediation alongside practicing family law until 2015 when she moved into family mediation full time.

Jennifer has worked with separated and separating couples as well as extended family members.   She has undertaken family mediation with up to five clients in a single session.

She is fortunate to have worked with individuals of different nationalities, and cultures, including individuals who do not speak English as a first language.

She has also worked with members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Jennifer’s financial cases have included those with modest to significant assets involving companies and pensions.

Throughout her mediation career Jennifer has been able to offer legal aid to those who are eligible and offers competitive fees to those who are not.

Jennifer will meet with clients throughout Hampshire and into the neighbouring counties of Dorset and Wiltshire.  However, she also offers sessions via video call.

She tailors sessions to suit the case and circumstances, offering various durations and the involvement of independent experts.

Having qualified as a Professional Practice Consultant in 2018 Jennifer also mentors and supports newly qualified and experienced mediators offering one to one and joint session.
