Family mediation in Torquay is offered by three of our highly experienced family mediators namely, John Hind, Pippa Bassett and Chrissie Tarbitt.
Chrissie Tarbitt combines many years of negotiating, coaching and mentoring in the corporate world, with her counselling and NLP skills, to deliver an integrated approach to mediation, helping families resolve the many issues they face when going through a separation.
She feels passionately that her role is to facilitate a client-led decision-making process with patients, integrity and empathy. Chrissie is an FMA (family mediators Association) trained mediator, a member of the National counselling society and the national hypnotherapy society.
Pippa Bassett is a member of the College of mediators and accredited with the legal aid agency and the Law Society. She is trained to consult directly with children in mediation and has experience of dealing with a wide range of issues in mediation with a particular interest and expertise working with parents, helping them to sort out arrangements for their children following separation.
John Hind is the director of compass resolution and an accredited mediator of 18 years experience as well as a highly experienced conflict management coach, national conflict management skills trainer and former family lawyer 23 years. He is also an accredited civil and workplace mediator, specialising in helping people to sort out matters for themselves when their family and workplace relationships have broken down.
