At Christmas, children of separated parents want and need;

• Their parents to get on which means keeping any disagreements and conflict well away from the children
• Know where they will be and when over Christmas
• Believe and feel that the arrangements are fair and balanced and they get to spend good quality time with each parent
• Believe and feel that their parents are OK with the arrangements
• Believe and feel that their parents are OK with listening to news from the children about good times they may have spent with each parent
• Know that they cannot manipulate each parent
• To experience their parents communicating well with civility and mutual respect
